We're getting some limited second cut hay harvested right now. Second cut hay tends to be higher in alfalfa content and has smaller grasses making it a softer hay than first cut hay. The field being baled in the video below is heavier in grasses, but still higher alfalfa content than you will find in most first cutting hay.
